Full Professor of Economics at Lisbon School of Economics and Management (ISEG). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from ISEG, where she also completed a Master’s degree in Monetary and Financial Economics. He obtained a PhD from the London Business School. He was scientific coordinator of UECE, vice chairman of the Economics department, and member of the Scientific Council and the School Council. He has been teaching several courses in the area of macroeconomics, at the first, second and third cycles of studies. He has authored or co-authored several books and scientific articles. He has provided advice to the Portuguese Government, the OECD, the ECB and the European Commission. He has published in journals such as Applied Economics, Economic Modelling, Empirical Economics, Manchester School, Energy Economics, Physica A, and Economics of Education Review. He has also co-authored books on economics.
