European Pillar of Social Rights

The European Pillar of Social Rights was signed together by the European Parliament, the Council and the European Commission in November 17, 2017, at the Social Summit for Fair Jobs and Growth in Gothenbergon, Switzerland.

The Pilar´s principles and rights cover a wide range of issues, including the right to quality education, lifelong learning and training, access to health care, gender equality, childcare, fair wages, a balance between professional and private life, counsel with the social partners and access to essential services.

The Institute of Public Policy presents itself as a Pilar´s multiplier, with the goal of raising awareness of these important issues. The Pillar and its many different initiatives will be disseminated in various IPP communication channels, such as this page and our social networks.

Stay tuned and follow the European Pillar of Social Rights through the #SocialRights hashtag.
