José Alves

Expertise: public finances and good governance

José Alves is currently finishing his PhD in Economics at the Lisbon School of Economics and Management (ISEG – UL). His research has mainly been in public finance, having published articles in international journals, and has collaborated as a revisions referee for scientific articles for journals such as Applied Economics Letters, Journal of Applied Economics e Review of Public Economics. As a former research fellow he is the co-author of some book chapters.

Currently, José is project manager at Laboratório Nacional de Engenharia Civil (LNEC).
